Quinta do Falcão consists of a Manor House and adjacent buildings, in a rustic style, dating from the 17th century. Accessible through a large neoclassical portal and a long cobbled and walled path, built by the 10th Donatory Captain, João Falcão de Sousa, set in a large plot (with areas of woods, pasture, Ribeiro), located in an urban area, between the Bay of São Lourenço and Praia Formosa, and the center of Vila do Porto.
The property has a crocket field (originally from the house), and invites you to walk through its pastures, woods and stream with about 8 hectares. The space has a privileged panoramic view, to the west, of the Atlantic Ocean.
It has a leisure area with a floral pergola, for reading, resting and recreation and a viewpoint next to the road. Soon, it will have a swimming pool served by a large balcony made of stone and ashlar, which will function as a pleasant space for leisure and contemplation, facing west, with sun loungers, umbrellas and other accessories.
The Quinta has 6 country houses. The houses were recovered and rebuilt from existing dwellings on the Quinta, remaining with an unparalleled rustic beauty to be enjoyed by all who wish to delight in the beauty of nature and the superb landscape of the Island. The reception has a customer service area, providing laundry services, as well as information on services in the areas of tourism, culture, leisure, gastronomy, etc. The six country houses are made up of 3 types of typology:
1 house with 2 bedrooms (T2)
2 houses with 1 bedroom and a mezzanine (T1+1)
3 houses with 1 bedroom (T1).
Each country house is fully furnished and decorated, including, in the living room, with sofas, dining tables and chairs, a flat-screen TV with cable channels, a fully equipped kitchen, with a microwave, a fridge, an oven, an induction hob, a dishwasher, a toaster, a coffee machine, and a kettle, teas and coffees available, and sets of crockery and kitchen utensils, and guests can prepare their own meals in the kitchen. All houses have free Wi-Fi and free private parking. The bathroom has a hairdryer and an electric towel rail. Wardrobes are built-in in all houses.
