The water is now around 24 degrees and the activities of the snipe fish that come from the depths are increasing. Tuna and bonitos as well as jacks and barracudas are now looking for the prey fish and it happens that these hunters drive large fish balls to the surface. The whale sharks benefit from this. It can happen that whale sharks can be seen at the upwelling spots during normal dives. Ambrosio in particular is one of the main places where around 50 Mobula cavort. Bottlenose dolphins also pass these places to look for food. In addition to the dives, we keep an eye out for the whale sharks and the food balls.
